Cape May Lighthouse

Climb the 199 steps up the original, cast iron spiral stairway to the top of the 1859 Cape May Lighthouse and see a staggering view of the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean, the surrounding nature trails of Cape May Point State Park, and Cape May Point Borough. Located a scenic 25 minute drive away and while in the area you can enjoy the beautiful town of Cape May.

The Cape May County Zoo

Cape May County Zoo has over 550 animals, is great fun for the whole family, and admission is free. Located just 20 minutes from the Condor right off Exit 11 of the Garden State Parkway. Click below for more information.

Cape May Sunken Ship

The S. S. Atlantus is probably the most famous concrete ship. She was built by the Liberty Ship Building Company in Brunswick, Georgia and launched on December 5, 1918. On June 8th, a storm hit and the ship broke free of her moorings and ran aground 150 feet off the coast of Sunset Beach. Several attempts were made to free the ship, but none were successful. The S. S. Atlantus is a tourist attraction visited by millions. The S. S. Atlantus can be seen at Sunset Beach in Cape May, NJ. Click the link below for more information.

The Wetlands Institute

Nature center featuring an aquarium and other exhibits on local marine life and animals of the salt marsh. Located 15 minutes from the Condor Motel in Stone Harbor. Click the link below for more information.

Hereford Inlet Lighthouse

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse was built in 1874 and is the most important historic structure on Five Mile Beach. It is a working lighthouse as well as a museum and is open to the public for guided or self-guided tours. Located 1 mile from the Condor Motel, this is a great stop to visit for some history and beautiful gardens. Click the link below for more information.

Doo Wop Experience

Brimming with cool artifacts, fun memories, fascinating history and bright neon lights, the all-new Doo Wop Experience and Neon Sign Garden is a celebration of architecture, design, music, pop culture and everything else that made Wildwood famous in its heyday of the 1950s and 1960s.
